The Brand Terminal was tasked with reinventing the non-alcoholic probiotic cocktail brand, Ferm Fatale. We set out to make zero-proof cocktails as sexy as traditional cocktail culture, balancing a flirty voice with an emphasis on the many health benefits of drinking, sans alcohol. We started with brand strategy and took the client all the way through brand identity, messaging, content and an investor narrative and deck.

A DRINK ON THE WILD SIDE
We positioned Ferm Fatale as a drink on the wild side, which pays homage to the wildly fermented zero-proof cocktails and gives Millennial women a chance to have fun and flirt with adventure without the negative effects of alcohol.

WELCOME TO OUR SEXY, SOBER WORLD
We created a brand identity with diverse skin-tone metallics paired with pops of bold, juicy color. The color pairings let each varietal shine whilst highlighting specific flavor cues. Combined with our typography, the branding is a modern nod to the roaring 20s with a dash of French attitude.
A MINDFULLY INDULGENT GUT HEALTH GURU
We developed a voice that is a mindfully indulgent gut health guru. Ferm Fatale is empowering, inspiring and a little sassy, especially when sheβs daring you to follow your gut and live life to the fullest.
